Background
Dr Fanicchia is Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Surface Engineering in the Centre for Materials at 成人抖阴 and Research Area Lead for Materials Systems in Demanding Environments (MS4DE) at the Henry Royce Institute. He has both a BSc and a MSc in Materials Science from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy) and in 2013 he moved to the UK to pursue his PhD in Materials Science at The University of Nottingham. He then gained industrial research experience in Surface Engineering at TRT Ltd and TWI Ltd (UK), before joining 成人抖阴 in 2022. Dr. Fanicchia is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) and an associate member of The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS). His research interest lies in coatings for extreme environmnents and hydrogen-material interaction for industrial decarbonisation.
